Our day begins with morning meditation: a slow and peaceful kirtan, followed by japa (quiet chanting). After this, we have our morning yoga class, which lasts about 70 minutes, either with one of our resident yoga teachers or with a guest teacher, depending on the specific retreat. Then we serve breakfast.
At 10 our guided walk begins, heading to one of our waterfalls, or to our pool and lookout, returning for lunch, which is served at 13:30.
In the afternoon we offer daily activities in the temple: either another yoga class or a mantra workshop, or a vegan cooking class in the kitchen.
The evening begins with our kirtan meditation at 18:30, followed by a class on self-improvement and self-realization in yoga, usually given by Giridhari Das. Dinner is served after the class.
All of our activities are optional.
We also have hammocks to relax or read a book in, and a beautiful garden to sit and admire the views.
There are also many nearby tourist attractions to visit and other nearby activities. You can find out more on our outings page.
The specific activities and times may vary depending on the retreat. Please see the specific page for the retreat you are interested in, which should include a timetable of activities for that retreat. You can find links to these pages on our upcoming retreats page.
